I recently posted this photo of “creepy guy” on a paranormal website.
Here’s the story …. My family visited over the Christmas holiday season. And as is common when you get family together, I was randomly snapping photos of my son, niece and nephew skateboarding on my back patio. A few days later when I put them on my computer, I first noticed the many spots on my photos. My first thought was we had on a flood light and I used my auto flash. However, when I looked closer at the spots - this very spooky looking guy jumped out at me in one of the photos. Just some background …. I am not “into” paranormal research. We have lived in our house 7 years without anything too weird happening. I have snapped hundreds of photos in daylight and dark both inside (with the same camera for 3 years - sony cybershot digital camera) and out without anything strange ever showing up. The evening was cool with no rain or snow.
Here were some replies to my post …
“I think that what you’re seeing is called matrixing…the instinctive result of our minds trying to see familiar objects when none are there. when I zoomed in, i saw that there is a small ball of light on top of a bigger one which would “make” the eyes right at the edge of where it gets darker in the yard. There is also a pole right down the middle and that coupled wilth the dark spots on the ground make it appear as a nose. There is the dark spot on the ground right behind the pole with makes it look like a mouth. very cool pic! thanks for sharing it…but i dont personally think it’s a paranormal (ghost) capture.”
“Well, I saw the face right away, but after closer examination, and to my chagrine, I was merely matrixing. Humans have the affinity to recognize facial features in things. Just like the Mars Face, and the guy getting on TV because he saw Jesus Christ in a taco shell.”
“…I don’t see a face in the “Orb”…but I do see the creepy face to the right of it.
Looks almost Alien…or even Ghoulish if you will,..
I can see why someone not familiar with the paranormal or “Ghost” photos might be a bit taken by it tho.”
