No, I didn’t say my brother has a fat head! Fatheads actually contacted my brother about adding his fine art photos to their fatheads available for sale. Yay Keith! Anyway … apparently they are branching out to fatheads other than just sports. I am adding a link to his site which contains the info on his [...]

2 parts Borax, 2 parts Washing soda & 1 part grated felds naptha soap.
The only store that I found all the ingredients at [...]
A knock on the door
Posted in Just a thought on April 27, 2009 | Leave a Comment »
Today, I was busy cleaning away, clad in my pajama pants and ratty t-shirt. Then comes the knock on the door. I was obviously not expecting visitors. I debated … answer the door or do not answer the door. I glanced down at my attire and thought – whatever … and I opened the door. There in [...]

My Mother loaned me her copy of the movie, Fireproof. (No spoilers here!) Tonight, I finally sat down to watch it. I am so glad I did. Very thought provoking! And, I must admit … my marriage could benefit from the Love Dare, too! I found the basics of the dare on www.familylife.com. They have [...]

I am sure this is not the worst anniversary gift ever given / received. He tells me this was all in fun. But, this one really offended me.
Before I go on, I [...]

Of course, I know the true meaning of Christmas! But, without reading into this too much, there are two things I really love about the holiday season …….
- Christmas cards &
- Christmas ornaments
My tree is eclectic, to say the least. But, I love ornaments. I am not talking about those that you walk to the [...]

So, on my journey from nurse to cashier … I have learned several truths.
1) At the actual dollar store, everything is $1. No matter where it is located, no matter how many times you ask …. it’s still $1. (except for single regular size candy bars – they are 2 for $1)
Saying “But, it looks [...]

So, I woke up this morning having myself a really good pity party. I only had to go to work this afternoon for 4 hours … but still, I didn’t want to go. Once at work, we were busy and the time went quickly. About 15 minutes before I am due to leave work, “she” comes in. [...]
